How are acupuncturists educated?

Today, acupuncturists in TX undertake approximately four years of extensive and comprehensive masters’ level training at nationally certified graduate schools after their undergraduate work / bachelor’s degree. All acupuncturists must pass several national board exams and meet strict guidelines, such as clean needling technique, to practice. Some acupuncturists will spend a few more years to pursue an advanced doctoral degree.
